Long Live the Chicken Burger!!
Great news! All of your begging and pleading and complaining to Costco warehouses across Canada has resulted in “Janet & Greta’s Gourmet Chicken Burgers” being re-stocked nationally! The burgers are already in Costco warehouses in Western Canada and will find their way to Eastern Canada locations soon. I’ll let you know the exact date as soon as I have it. I am in chicken burger withdrawal (like many of you who wrote to say you couldn’t live without them)…so I can’t wait to find them at my Kitchener store soon. It’s kinda sad that my face is on the box and yet I can’t even buy my own product
Thank you so much for your support of our burgers. More J&G products to come!
UPDATE FEB 17 2011: Chicken burgers back in stock in Western Canada Costco warehouses and will be returning to Eastern Canada Costco warehouses in mid-March.

What would it take to get these products in the US? I would be so excited to be able to buy your food at stores here!

Janet and Greta,
I love your books. The recipes are really delicious. And I must say I am crazy about food so I am not easily impressed. Most new recipes I try are never good enough to warrant making again. You on the other hand have recipes I make time and time again. Really wonderful and tasty food!!! I have come to realize that fat is not so much a culprit in my weight gain as carbs. I was speaking with a highly educated fitness doctor at a gym in Palm Springs. This guy has a phd in biology from MIT and a medical degree from Harvard. He explained to me that too many carbs are the enemy and that we concentrate too much on low fat. In fact everything is low fat now and North Americans are fatter than ever. I would love for you amazing ladies to come up with low carb and sugar free recipes. It would be great to see someone address sugar substitutes (which scare me) and low carb food. Keep up the great work! Hats off to you!

Fantastic news!!! I’m so glad because I stocked up my freezer when I found out they weren’t going to be carrying them anymore, but now I’m a hair away from running out! I was starting to anticipate severe withdrawal! I just love them with those really thin burger buns from Loblaws, lettuce, tomato and tzaziki sauce – soooooooo good!! Well, glad to know I don’t have to panick! Phew!!!

I’ve been buying those roasted chicken burgers since last year! As well as the Tuscan meatballs! Mmm mmm mmm!!!
I was so pleased to see yet ANOTHER new product at Costco today – your Turkey Club Sausages!
A+++!!!
So glad the sodium is a modest 400mg for a turkey sausage! Love em!
PLEASE update us on your new products to look out for often & often!
much thanks!

I have searched Alaska and W. Washington and cannot find. They were available in both locations earlier but seemed to have disappeared. They are the best…

Had the burgers tonight and they were fantastic! I hadn’t heard of them before, but I found them at Saskatchewan Costco, read the ingredients list and nutrition facts and decided to try them….they did not disappoint. I topped them with sautéed onions and melted goat cheese……OMG so good. My husband said they were awesome and that we should definitely have them again. So here I am on your website for the first time, just had to tell you how great they are. I will be going back to Costco tomorrow to stock up…just in case.
Thanks for an awesome product!

Hey Ladies
I have been watching for the burgers at my regular costco in Mississauga and I still haven’t seen them
They are the best pre made burgers I have ever had and would like to have them again!

I live in Edmonton, and was at a Costco yesterday. I found the chicken italian sausages (that are GREAT!) but not the burgers.
I used the sausages this morning in some scrambled eggs. Just took them out of the casing and chopped them up…

Bombard Costco with complaints about the lack of availabilty of these wonderful chicken burgers.
Debbie | November 6, 2010 at 6:02 pm →
I wish I had bought a number of packages and put them in the freezer. I purchased them over and over again this summer but since summer is over they are no longer available. Pleeeeeese bring them back.
The sausages are always available and we are never without them in our fridge.

BEST discovery in a long time was your sausages at Costco – I’ll be looking for the burgers, too… Keep up the awesome work, ladies! More…more…

Is there anywhere I can still buy them?
Thanks!

I am in Edmonton and used to buy both the chicken burgers and the chicken sausages at Costco (2 different locations that I frequent). In the last 3 months I have not seen the sausages in either locations. Are they no longer carrying the sausages?
Greta | April 22, 2011 at 1:11 pm →
Ashley, the chicken burgers are for sale in Edmonton but the sausages are not. They have been removed to make room for 4 new varieties which will be tested in May before the long weekend. We will post the exact dates. Next time you’re at Costco, please fill out a customer request/comment card near the membership desk and ask that they keep our sausages and burgers in stock all year round. I know it can be frustrating to buy them once and then not be able to buy them again
Greta | April 22, 2011 at 1:12 pm →
Alison, our chicken burgers are in all Costco warehouses in Canada (or SHOULD be). Sometimes they are sold out.

Got the Chicken Burgers at Costco in Halifax this past week – they are fantastic! Would love to see more products like them.

Do you know how many Weight Watchers points one burger without a bun is? I don’t have the box anymore to figure out the points. If I could get the protein count, carbs and fibre I can figure it out myself.
Thanks,
Nancy

LOVE!!!! Your chicken burgers! Live in Vancouver but they were not at Costco last time I was there? Will they be back, anywhere else I can buy them?
Sandy | January 16, 2012 at 7:02 pm →
I purchased these delicious burgers at Cosco in St Catharines earlier in 2011. They have not been in stock there for some time and I am beginning to have withdrawal symptoms! Can you tell me what’s happened?
Greta Podleski | January 16, 2012 at 8:37 pm →
Sandy, the burgers are sold seasonally. They’ll be back in Costco in the spring!
