Here’s some good news for fans of our Eat, Shrink & Be Merry TV show on Food Network Canada: Season #3 will make its official debut on Friday, September 4th! Finally! It seems like ages ago that Janet and I danced the salsa while making salsa for our Taco Salad show! Other makeovers in this year’s line-up: carrot cake with cream cheese icing (deee-lish!), deep-fried panzerotti with dipping sauce (we put a clever “twist” on this one; that’s a hint…when you watch the show you’ll see what I mean), and we take a wok on the wild side when we go head to head with a popular Chinese take-out restaurant and their famous pork chop suey and vegetable fried rice. It’s our favourite season ever and we hope you’ll mark the following days and times on your calendar:
Eat, Shrink & Be Merry, Season 3, Food Network Canada
Begins Friday, September 4th
Show Times:
Fridays: 8:00 am, 11:30 am and 7:30 pm
Saturdays: 9:00 am

Woohoo! I saw the commercial for your show yesterday and got all excited and was hoping you would put a notice up here. I really am excited about the carrot cake recipe idea, that’s one of my favs. So happy to have you both back on TV!

When is the show airing with the deep fried panzerotti??

Hi Sharon! I’m sorry, but I don’t have the schedule with the exact order of the episodes (with their air dates) yet. This is usually posted on the Food Network’s website under our show’s listing. You could check it from time to time to see if the panzerotti episode is listed in the upcoming schedule. The food network’s website is http://www.foodtv.ca.

I am so upset - I just realized when we rearranged our cable options, we got rid of the food network! I have missed you and I just might have to call and get that channel back on!

Enjoy the show but find it interesting that you don’t always give the measurement for the ingredients you use. Is it a ploy to buy your book?

Mardi, I try as much as possible to give the exact measurements but our cooking segments are very, very short compared with other cooking shows on the Food Network so sometimes the ingredients are edited. Every single one of our TV show recipes is available on the Food Network’s website (www.foodtv.ca) under our show’s listing.
